"Dear Verity,  

We have just returned from our first experience of a cruise. we left the UK (Gatwick) on the 20th of October at 05.50 arriving at Nice a short time after. We boarded the connecting coach and arrived in good time to board the Costa Luminosa the embarkation was well organised. Our cabin was well appointed and very clean.

The food on board was exceptional , variety and quantity and many various places to eat. The other 6 people on our table were extremely nice and we got on very well. . The daily news letter was very informative for the next days activities.

The entire ship was of outstanding in cleanliness with staff working 24/7 to keep it that way , compliments to the waiting staff both during meals and whilst in the entertaining areas must also be mentioned.
With regards to the entertainment I say “well done, a good sound and very enjoyable”. The staff that organised the entertainment. worked hard, we love to dance together.

Again the ship to shore for the sight seeing trips were well organised as well as the shuttle bus into the various towns.

Disembarkment again was good and connecting flights run well. loved the idea of the Costa card to save carrying money around.

On the whole as our first cruise experience we found it to be enjoyable!
